Sunday at summer camp means to sleep a little bit longer than the days we go to the language classes. I got dressed and brushed my teeth and then went down stairs to have breakfast.

After breakfast, I started to do my blog. By half past 12, some new students had arrived and the whole group went with Rebecca and Miguel to walk along the beach and go play some tennis and paddle. I stayed at the summer camp with Lorenzo, so I could do my blog and he could upload videos from his go pro onto the laptop. At around half past one, another 3 new students arrived. It was two girls and a boy. One of the girls who is called Amelia, is from Poland but she was born in Australia. The other girl, is from Holland and is called Dieuwke and the boy, who is her twin brother is called Adriaan. The rest of the group arrived back at the camp at half past 2, so before they came back, Lorenzo, Dieuwke, Adriaan, Amelia and I got the chance to get to know each other.

When it was time for lunch, another few new people had arrived. For lunch we had paella and it was a mixed paella so it had meat and seafood in it. I loved it! I even went back for more! After lunch we went back to the beach to find some objects which we could recycle later in our workshop. We created arts with plastic bottles and all the things we found on the beach. We used also spray paint which I loved doing! We finished that workshop at 6 so we had an hour to shower and try and get as much spray paint off as possible.

As usual our free time started at 7. Petra and I went to go and get some juice and walk along the beach and then headed back to the summer camp for the rest of free time.

We had dinner outside in the patio today and it was nice to have a change and it made us socialize more with the new people. After dinner, we did a few new introduction, name games and then read out the love box letters to finish up the night. I’m looking forward to getting to know the new girls and boys!
