On November 25, 2022, Ulrich embarked on a remarkable journey, poised to push the boundaries of what was thought possible in women’s windsurfing. With determination in her heart and the wind at her back, she took to the water at 11:13 am, armed with a clear mission in mind.
As Ulrich raced down the Luderitz Speed Challenge canal, each gust of wind propelled her forward, inching closer and closer to her goal. With each passing minute, her speed steadily increased, reaching impressive milestones of 41, 42, and 43 knots.
Then, in a breathtaking moment of triumph, Ulrich shattered the previous record with a remarkable speed of 46.87 knots, sending shockwaves of excitement through the crowd gathered on the shore.
